How Justice Is Served these Days
Harpers has a must-read piece by Scott Horton on the US Attorney scandal at the Dept. of Justice, entitled “Murder, Voter Fraud, and Obstruction at the Department of Justice.” Horton writes:
As the New York Times writes today, this matter is exceedingly serious. It dwarfs any scandal seen in Washington in several decades. It has destroyed public confidence in the administration of justice. Specifically, it has destroyed confidence in the Department of Justice.
The article does a good job of communicating the significance of the scandal, without delving into a lot of the details. For details, I’ve been following Talking Points Memo.
